Roof Screeding

Roof screeding is non-structural concrete, poured typically without any steel reinforcement. Roof screeding receives maximum exposure against temperature fluctuations, which often results in concrete cracks and access to rain water.

Benefits
Plastic Shrinkage Cracks

Duracrete polypropylene fibre added to fresh concrete screeding provides protection against plastic shrinkage cracking up to approximately 80%.

Secondary Reinforcement

Presence of millions of fibres in concrete provides three-dimensional and lasting reinforcement.

Water Penetration

Reduction in concrete surface cracks improves roof screeding resistance to water penetration.
